Inaugural Numu Teepu Land Protector training

Learning traditional land stewardship and resource gathering woven together with modern monitoring tools and methods.

The Four Tribes Alliance held its first inaugural Numu Teepu Land Protector Training. Tribal youth joined Tribal knowledge keepers and non-Tribal teachers for in-class and outside lessons. Students visited Buckeye Canyon, Tiipu Sonyahapu/The Dry Lakes Plateau, and the Tunna’ Nosi’ Kaiva’ Gwaa Mesa.
